The 2023 Santa Trada Al Pilone from Criserà is an IGT Calabria red wine that expresses the authenticity of the region through a rich and enveloping aromatic profile. Made from Calabrese Nero and Merlot grapes, it expresses intense aromas of ripe red fruits and delicate spicy notes. On the palate, it is structured, with soft and well-integrated tannins, balanced by a pleasant freshness that makes the wine harmonious and smooth. At 13.5% ABV, this Calabrian red is versatile and ideal for a variety of food pairings: from grilled red meats to roasts, from game to aged cheeses, and even rich and flavorful first courses. Served at 16-18°C, it is the perfect companion for convivial lunches and important dinners.
