The Cannubi Boschis Limited Edition Barolo DOCG 2014 by Virna Borgogno comes from one of Barolo's most prestigious vineyards, the celebrated Cannubi cru, renowned for its ability to produce wines of exceptional complexity and elegance. It presents a deep and luminous garnet red. The nose offers a seductive and layered bouquet, where blackberry and ripe red fruits intertwine with delicate notes of violet, tobacco, oak, and subtle mineral nuances. On the palate, it reveals a decisive and refined character: the structure is full and powerful, supported by soft, velvety tannins that lend harmony. Each sip reveals new nuances, with hints of dark chocolate and light smoky notes that enrich the flavor profile. Vinified according to traditional methods, the wine is made from hand-selected Nebbiolo grapes, harvested at the perfect level of ripeness and fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature to preserve their finesse and aromatic freshness. Prolonged aging in large traditional oak barrels gives it extraordinary depth and longevity.
