This Verdicchio is the pure expression of the Marche region. Bisci's Senex Riserva 2019 DOCG BIO is a calling card that speaks of passion and respect for the land.
100% Verdicchio grapes, grown organically, harvested by hand. The secret is in the vineyard: south/southwest exposure and calcareous-clayey soil guarantee grapes of exceptional concentration and minerality. The Guyot training system and low yield (80-90 quintals/hectare) ensure maximum flavor.
In the glass, it is straw yellow. On the nose, it surprises with elegant notes of anise and licorice. On the palate, it is balanced and boasts a remarkable persistence that never fades.
It is the ideal choice for those seeking a white wine with character, a DOCG Riserva that honestly highlights the terroir's vocation. Perfect with rich fish dishes, white meats, and aged cheeses. A wine that whispers excellence.

The Bisci Winery has a long and successful history tied to Verdicchio di Matelica. Founded in 1972 when brothers Giuseppe and Pierino bet on the grape's farsightedness, the business is now run by their sons Mauro and Tito. With 20 hectares of vineyards (18 of which are Verdicchio), they fully embrace the potential of this white variety, producing wines that combine freshness with age-prolonged potential. Certified organic since 2019, the winery is a go-to for those seeking authentic, clean, and enduring expressions of one of the Mediterranean's most important white wines.
