Poggio dei Duca Pinot Noir Oltrepò Pavese DOCG 2019 Metodo Classico Calatroni is a Pas Dosé sparkling wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the upper Versa Valley, from a Rocca de' Giorgi vineyard located at 540 meters above sea level. Manual harvesting and gentle pressing introduce a long aging period of 48 months on the lees, resulting in a taut, savory, and persistent palate. In the glass, it expresses a fine, continuous perlage, elegant aromas of early spring flowers, small red fruits, apple, and hints of pastry. A precise, vertical, and distinctive Metodo Classico that authentically interprets the profile of Oltrepò Pavese Pinot Noir.

Calatroni is a family-run winery in the Oltrepò Pavese area, operating since 1964. Today, with the third generation represented by Cristian and Stefano, the winery has consolidated an identity strongly tied to Pinot Noir and the Metodo Classico. From the vineyards of Montecalvo Versiggia, Santa Maria della Versa, and Rocca de' Giorgi, they produce territorial, clean, and consistent wines.
