The Barbaresco DOCG 2022 Morassino from Cascina Morassino is a wine that embodies the excellence of Piedmont, made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the area's finest vineyards. It displays an intense, brilliant ruby red. The nose reveals a broad and elegant bouquet, where notes of black cherry and berries intertwine with aromas of violet, vanilla, tobacco, leather, and oak. On the palate, it is complex, enveloping, and velvety, with soft tannins that support the richness of the fruit, enriched by nuances of dried figs and spices. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant sensation of harmony and elegance. The winemaking process is carried out with great care: the grapes are hand-picked and fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, before being aged for at least 24 months in barrique and another year in bottle. This process gives the wine depth, balance, and an unmistakable character. Barbaresco Morassino DOCG is the ideal companion for rich dishes like beef fillet, braised meats, and truffle risotto, making every tasting a memorable experience.
