Le Rose Nizza DOCG 2021 - Franco Mondo
Franco Mondo's Nizza Le Rose DOCG is a highly elegant Piedmontese red wine made from Barbera grapes grown in the heart of Monferrato. It displays an intense and luminous ruby red color. The nose opens with refined floral notes of rose, which blend with a delicate hint of vanilla, creating a fine and complex bouquet. On the palate, it stands out for its full-bodied, velvety, and enveloping structure. It is an aromatic and fruity wine, balanced and harmonious, with silky tannins that accompany a persistent and pleasantly long finish. Vinification involves fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, followed by a period of aging on the fine lees, which gives the wine smoothness and depth. This process enhances the freshness of the fruit without sacrificing complexity. Elegant and versatile in pairing, it pairs magnificently with meat dishes such as duck breast with sweet peas, vegetable couscous with beef meatballs, roasts, and semi-mature cheeses. A label that authentically expresses the Piedmontese winemaking tradition, capable of conveying finesse and intensity in every sip.
