Brigaldara's Classico Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2019 comes from vineyards located in the heart of the Classico area, at the entrance to the Marano valley. The finest Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and other local varieties are hand-picked and left to dry for approximately 120 days before a meticulous vinification process that brings out the full richness of the skins. Three years of aging in small and large barrels lends complexity and balance. Bright red in color, the nose offers clean notes of red cherry and berries with floral accents. On the palate, it is enveloping, with an initial sweetness that gives way to freshness, vigorous tannins, and a dry finish with elegant alcoholic warmth. A traditional and powerful Amarone, ideal with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
