Ambrosia Riserva Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC 2022 - Vignamato
Vignamato's Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Riserva "Ambrosia" 2022 is made from a careful selection of grapes from the company's oldest vineyard, planted in 1975 in Contrada Battinebbia, at an altitude of 230 meters. The vines, facing northeast on clayey soils with calcareous residues, produce a complex and refined wine. After manual harvesting, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts lasts approximately five weeks, followed by aging for 24 months in glass-lined cement vats and 12 months in the bottle. In the glass, it reveals notes of ripe yellow fruit, citrus, anise, and aromatic herbs. Fresh, savory, and mineral, it is ideal with complex fish, shellfish, white meats, and traditional Marche dishes.

Vignamato, whose history began in the 1940s in San Paolo di Jesi in Contrada Battinebbia, honors the memory of Amato, who managed the plot with his wife Maria. Since 1992, the winery has been led by Maurizio, his wife Serenella, and their children. Maurizio tends his 27 hectares of vineyards, knowing that the land is only on loan. This dedication, forged by years of sacrifice in every climate, is reflected in every bottle. "Vignamato" thus symbolizes not only the name, but also a family's legacy and passion for its Marche region.
