Adanti's Rosso Montefalco DOC Riserva 2019 is an Umbrian red with a strong personality, made from Sangiovese, Sagrantino, and Merlot from the Arquata vineyard. Vinification in steel with a total maceration of 30 days and aging for 30 months in Slavonian oak barrels, completed by at least 12 months in the bottle, yields a full-bodied, deep, and very well-defined wine. The color is a deep ruby red; the nose develops notes of red fruit, tobacco, licorice, and fine spices. On the palate, it displays structure, complexity, and a tannin that is well-present yet balanced by a pleasant, refreshing acidity. A serious, elegant Montefalco Riserva, built to last.
