The Novella Bianco Alpi Retiche IGT 2024 – Fratelli Polatti is an Italian white wine that combines character and versatility, an expression of the Alpi Retiche IGT, a Lombardy appellation that highlights the grape varieties grown on the Rhaetian slopes of Valtellina and Upper Lombardy. This wine is made using a particularly original white winemaking process: Nebbiolo and Rossola grapes—usually used for red wines—are vinified without maceration on the skins and then blended with Chardonnay and Incrocio Manzoni, giving the wine a fresh and structured aromatic profile. In the glass, it displays a straw yellow color with greenish highlights, accompanied by a bouquet that ranges from notes of green apple and wildflowers to more delicate hints of white-fleshed fruit and light mineral nuances. On the palate, it is fresh, savory, and well-balanced, with a pleasant combination of acidity and roundness that makes it a versatile wine for food pairings. The alcohol content of approximately 12.50% ABV supports the structure without weighing it down, making this white wine ideal both as an aperitif with friends and as an accompaniment to fish, shellfish, molluscs, risottos, soups, and even pizzas, where it can enhance the freshness of the ingredients. Vinification in stainless steel preserves the aromatic purity and vitality of the palate, while the blend of different grape varieties lends complexity and sensory dynamism. The Novella Bianco Alpi Retiche IGT 2024 is a surprising wine that showcases the experimentation and production expertise of Fratelli Polatti, offering a contemporary interpretation of the Lombard winemaking tradition.

Because a table is never just a table.
It is where people come together, share moments and express their way of living. Choosing how to set the table therefore becomes an expression of identity.
You can choose any utensil for your table, but always remember:
One serves a function.
The other finds a place in your story.
