Monvigliero Barolo DOCG 2021 - Bel Colle
Barolo DOCG “Monvigliero” – Bel Colle comes from the most famous cru in Verduno, a natural amphitheater facing southwest that expresses a unique style of elegance and depth. The calcareous-clayey soils and dry climate allow the Nebbiolo to achieve balanced maturation and a rare aromatic finesse. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, with maceration for 22-25 days and subsequent slow malolactic fermentation. Aging continues in large oak barrels, with further aging in the bottle. In the glass, it appears garnet red with orange highlights. The bouquet blends notes of red fruits, plum, cherry, and dark spices, with an ethereal and persistent profile. On the palate, it is velvety and delicate, supported by a fresh acidity and fine tannins that define a harmonious and authoritative finish. A Barolo that best interprets the typical refinement of Verduno.
