Montepulciano D'Abruzzo DOC 2023 BIO - Torre Dei Beati
Torre dei Beati's Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC 2023 Bio is the winery's most direct and personal interpretation of one of Abruzzo's great reds. The grapes, grown organically on clay-limestone soils between 250 and 320 meters above sea level, are harvested by hand using staggered selections and a sorting table. Vinification in stainless steel with maceration for 20-30 days and subsequent aging in neutral French oak barrels for 15-18 months yield an elegant wine, never overpowered by oak. The color is ruby with purple reflections; the fruit is clean, distinctive, and finely spiced on the nose. On the palate, it displays structure, softness, evolved tannins, a light acidic and saline note, and a lingering finish. An authentic and very focused organic Montepulciano.
