Lessona DOC 2020 by Tenute Sella is a red from Alto Piemonte made from Nebbiolo and Vespolina grapes grown on the historic Lessona hills, at an altitude of 300 meters, on ancient, acidic, orange-yellow marine sands. Manual harvesting, classic fermentation in stainless steel with pumping over and delestage, and 24-month aging in French oak define a wine of great finesse. The palate is distinguished by a delicate touch, precision, and an elegant texture that comes directly from the terroir. It is a red capable of aging over thirty years, yet already distinguished by its balance, tension, and depth. A historic Lessona, produced by a winery that has linked this denomination to its identity since 1671.

Tenute Sella preserves one of the noblest histories of Alto Piemonte. Since 1671, the family has tended vineyards in Lessona, ancient lands born from marine sands and suited to producing red wines of great finesse. Quintino Sella's toast with a Rosso Lessona in 1870 recounts an identity that spans Italian history. With 23 hectares of vineyards, the winery preserves a rare winemaking heritage, built on memory, elegance, and family continuity.
