Casavecchia Lautonis Terre del Volturno IGT 2022 Bio by Il Verro is a Campanian red with a strong identity, built on a native grape with a bold personality. The organic version enhances the character of the Casavecchia with an intense, deep, and well-structured palate, supported by ripe fruit, spices, and firm yet orderly tannins. On the palate, it maintains balance and momentum, avoiding excess weight and maintaining a strong gastronomic vocation. The 0.75 L format is ideal with red meats, game, roasts, and mature cheeses. Serve at 16-18°C. A territorial, textured, and coherent red, ideal for those seeking authenticity and unconventional Campanian grape varieties.13.5

Il Verro was founded in the Caserta hinterland with the goal of producing quality wines and olive oil and reinterpreting Campania's viticultural heritage in a contemporary way. The name recalls the male wild boar, as it was called by the Bourbons, and embodies a strong territorial identity. The winery is known for its recovery and promotion of rare native grape varieties, including Coda di Pecora, producing wines that combine authenticity, research, and roots in the Massico area.
