The 2021 Caravèra Bolgheri Superiore DOC from Podere dei Musi represents the most structured and refined version in the range: a selection of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Petit Verdot grapes grown on gravelly soils in the Bolgheri area and vinified with meticulous care. Aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months and then aged in bottle for 12 months, it gives the wine depth and personality. It is an intense ruby red in appearance; the nose reveals notes of wild berries, spices, sweet tobacco, and elegant wood; on the palate, it is full-bodied and elegant, with sinuous tannins and a long, refined finish. It pairs perfectly with game, rich red meats, aged cheeses, and gourmet dishes. Its premium vocation, extended aging, and potential for aging are highlighted on the e-commerce site.

Podere dei Musi is a family-run winery located in the Bolgheri DOC zone, founded by the Di Vaira family from Molise and now led by Federico. On approximately 4-5 hectares of organically farmed vineyards, the estate produces wine and olive oil that reflect the terroir's identity: gravelly vineyards, a coastal climate, and meticulous winemaking. International varietals blend seamlessly with the Tuscan terroir, and oak aging lends the wines structure and elegance, ideal for wine lovers who value quality and origin.
