Bigolla Colli Tortonesi DOC 2012 by Vigneti Massa is a pure Barbera, sourced from the Bigolla vineyard on limestone soil, at 280 meters above sea level and with an eastern exposure. Carefully selected by hand, the grapes are then vinified using traditional methods, including pumping over and massaging the pomace, to create a rich and concentrated base. It is then aged for 24-30 months in 228-liter new oak barrels. The wine has a deep ruby color and an intense aromatic profile, dominated by black cherry, blackcurrant, and blueberry, with deeper nuances created by time and wood. On the palate, it is full-bodied, decisive, and long-lasting. An important, organic Barbera, designed for those who appreciate structured Piedmontese reds with a strong identity.
