125 Negroamaro Salento IGP 2024 by Feudi Salentini enhances one of Puglia's iconic grape varieties with a smooth, fruity, and contemporary style. The Negroamaro del Salento grapes come from the province of Taranto, on calcareous soils, and are harvested by hand. In the glass, it displays a ruby red color with amaranth highlights. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of berries, particularly blackberries and blueberries. The palate is velvety, soft, and persistent, with fruity notes that remain clean and pleasant. Aging in French tonneaux for 3-6 months adds roundness without overshadowing the varietal character.
