Il Verro's Pallagrello Nero Terre del Volturno IGT 2024 is a Campanian red that highlights one of the Caserta region's most interesting grape varieties. Its profile is crisp and dynamic, with dark red fruit, light spices, and a well-balanced structure. On the palate, it has a medium body, good freshness, and present yet well-managed tannins, capable of accompanying the sip without stiffening it. The 0.75 L format makes it suitable for cured meats, savory pasta dishes, grilled meats, and traditional Campanian dishes. Serve at 16-18°C. A native red with a recognizable personality, designed for those seeking territorial expression, precision, and drinkability.

Il Verro was founded in the Caserta hinterland with the goal of producing quality wines and olive oil and reinterpreting Campania's viticultural heritage in a contemporary way. The name recalls the male wild boar, as it was called by the Bourbons, and embodies a strong territorial identity. The winery is known for its recovery and promotion of rare native grape varieties, including Coda di Pecora, producing wines that combine authenticity, research, and roots in the Massico area.
