The Mühlanger Lagrein Alto Adige DOC from Brunnenhof Mazzon is a wine that embodies all the strength and elegance of the native Alto Adige grape. It features an intense, deep, and luminous ruby red. The bouquet is rich and seductive: notes of dark berries, ripe cherries, and blackcurrant emerge, accompanied by spicy nuances, a hint of chocolate, and delicate sensations of leather and vanilla.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with soft, well-integrated tannins that provide balance and roundness. The palate reveals intensity and freshness, with a long, elegant, and persistent finish that invites repeat tasting.
The grapes come from sunny vineyards in Alto Adige, grown in ideal conditions. The harvest is done manually, with a careful selection of the finest bunches. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature to preserve the fruity character, followed by aging in large wooden barrels, which enriches the wine with finesse and complexity.
Perfect paired with red meats, game, rosemary-infused lamb, beef fillet, pasta with rich sauces, or aged and blue cheeses, this Lagrein is ideal for convivial evenings or special occasions.
