The Montefalco Rosso DOC 2020 Adanti is a wine that captures the soul of Umbria and its unique terroir. Made from a blend of Sangiovese, Sagrantino, Barbera, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, it comes from vineyards located on the hills of Montefalco, a region renowned for producing wines of character and depth.
It features an intense ruby red color with vibrant highlights. On the nose, it reveals a broad and complex bouquet, where fruity notes of cherry, blackberry, plum, and currant intertwine with balsamic and spicy notes, typical of the area. Aged in large oak barrels for at least 12 months, the wine is enriched with delicate oak nuances and greater overall harmony.
On the palate, it is enveloping and structured, with a savory and dynamic finish that enlivens the palate, supported by balanced tannins and a freshness that amplifies its drinkability. The finish is long and persistent, with fruity and balsamic aftertas that confirm its complexity.
At 14.5% ABV, it is an ideal red to accompany traditional flavorful dishes, such as red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses, with which it strikes the perfect balance. An elegant yet authentic wine, it faithfully reflects the philosophy of the Adanti winery and the bold character of the Montefalco terroir.
