The project stems from the reinterpretation of a Scarperia knife from the 1930s, revisiting its proportions and volumes to suit a modern, elegant, and functional table. The smooth, forged 10.6 cm blade is designed to offer a smooth, continuous cut, ideal for juicy steaks, tender meats, and fish fillets such as tuna or swordfish, preserving the texture, flavor, and presentation of the dish. The ergonomic handle ensures a natural and precise grip, making the knife easy to handle and pleasant to use even during prolonged use. Each blade is crafted from high-quality stainless steel and hand-sharpened according to the Berti artisanal method, a three-stage process that defines an edge geometry designed for daily use and for progressive, controlled wear, capable of maintaining consistent performance over time. The full tang ensures structural solidity, proper balance, and continuity between blade and handle, elements that distinguish true artisanal cutlery from industrial production. The set includes six knives and is available in three handle variants, each with its own unique identity: bright and stable white methacrylate; essential and bold black methacrylate; and polished Cornotech, a high-performance technical resin that recalls the elegance of natural horn with greater uniformity and durability.
