Sasso Serra Aglianico Irpinia DOC 2024 Passo Delle Tortore
Sasso Serra Irpinia Aglianico DOC is made from 100% Aglianico grapes grown at 400 meters above sea level on clay-limestone soils with a southeast exposure. After manual selection in the vineyard, the grapes ferment with a long maceration at a controlled temperature for 15-18 days, followed by aging for 6 months in oak barrels. The result is an intense ruby red wine with a complex bouquet, with notes of wild berries, ripe plums, and licorice. The fine, well-integrated tannins lend elegance and structure, while bottle aging adds softness and creaminess. A balanced, enveloping, and profound wine that authentically expresses the character and strength of Aglianico Irpinia.0.75 L
