The Pietro Colla Extra Brut Alta Langa DOC 2021 from Poderi Colla is made from Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo, noble grape varieties for great red wines, here interpreted in a Classic Method with great structure and longevity. Unlike the early harvests typical for sparkling wines, the grapes are matured with a balanced balance between acidity and body, which gives complexity and aging potential. Bright color, fine and persistent perlage, elegant aromas of fruit, flowers, and bread crust. On the palate, it is full-bodied, harmonious, and mineral, perfect not only as an aperitif but also paired with fish dishes, white meats, and cheeses.
