Monleale Colli Tortonesi DOC 2021 by Vigneti Massa is a wine designed for those seeking a territorial, readable, and concrete bottle. Made in Piedmont, Italy, from Barbera, it has a profile consistent with the grape variety and the winery's style. In the glass, it offers a dense ruby red color. On the nose, it presents all types of black cherry, joined by blackcurrant and blueberry thanks to aging in small wooden barrels. The clay and limestone soil supports structure, freshness, and flavorful precision. Manual harvesting in vats with selection in the vineyard, when the woody stem (just right), enhances a careful selection of the grapes. In the cellar, the wine is traditional with daily pumping over for about 8-10 days, massaging the pomace around the fourth-fifth day, racking, and gentle pressing of the pomace.
