10 Years Barolo DOCG Riserva 2015 - Bel Colle
Barolo DOCG Riserva “10 Anni” 2015 – Bel Colle comes from two historic crus of Verduno: Monvigliero and Boscatto. Here, the Nebbiolo expresses concentration, aromatic finesse, and a naturally balanced structure. The grapes are vinified separately; after a brief phase with dry ice to enhance complexity and the olfactory profile, the must ferments in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Maceration lasts approximately 15 days, ensuring a targeted and clean extraction. Each batch then ages for five years in large oak barrels, before being blended and placed back in barrel for another five years. The result is a Barolo with a garnet color with orange highlights, with ample aromas of spice, ripe fruit, and elegant balsamic nuances. The palate is deep and relaxed, with measured tannins and a balance that calmly expresses the essence of Verduno. A classic Riserva, rigorous and surprisingly harmonious after a decade of aging.
