The Syrah Cortona DOC 2022 "Don't Throw Plastic Into the Ocean" – Caravanserraglio is an organic Tuscan red wine that combines sensory depth and sustainability. Made from 100% Syrah grown in the hillside vineyards of Cortona, this wine stands out for its intense purple-red color and a rich, enveloping aromatic profile. On the nose, notes of ripe black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant emerge, accompanied by spicy hints of pepper and tobacco, light reminiscences of Mediterranean herbs, and nuances of leather, lending complexity to the overall wine. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, balanced, and persistent, with soft tannins and a harmonious structure that sustains the sip from start to finish. Vinification in stainless steel and aging in quality wooden barrels preserves the freshness of the fruit and adds depth to the flavors, enhancing the natural elegance of Syrah.  This wine conveys a strong message of environmental responsibility, inviting reflection on the importance of protecting the oceans every time you uncork a bottle.  Perfect with grilled red meats, roasts, game, cured meats, and aged cheeses, as well as more structured dishes such as meat-based pasta dishes, its gastronomic versatility makes it suitable for both family dinners and special occasions.
