The Terre di Cariano Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Riserva 2016 by Cecilia Beretta is an extraordinary red wine, born in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, in San Pietro in Cariano. Obtained from Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone, Croatina and Oseleta grapes, it is aged for 24 months in wood to express the full potential of the alluvial terroir rich in fine and gravelly sediments. Deep red in color, it releases enveloping aromas of berries, blackberry jam, cocoa and roasting on the nose. On the palate it is warm, soft and rich, with ripe and velvety tannins, well balanced and persistent. The 2016 vintage, characterized by favorable climatic conditions during the maturation phase, has given us a structured and complex wine, ideal for special moments or long refinements in the cellar. A great Amarone for meditation, which enhances the tradition and refinement of Valpolicella.
