Terre Nere's Rosso Di Montalcino DOC 2022 is a wine designed for those seeking a territorial, easy-to-read, and concrete wine. Made in Tuscany, Italy, from 100% Sangiovese Grosso, its profile is consistent with the grape variety and the winery's style. In the glass, the Rosso di Montalcino Terre Nere DOC is ruby red with garnet hues, expressing aromas of morello cherry, violet, and sweet violet. The soil, 70% marl, 30% silt and clay, supports structure, freshness, and a precise flavor. Manual harvesting enhances a careful selection of the grapes. In the cellar, 15 days of maceration in steel is followed by 8 months of aging in large 50-hl barrels. One year in steel and large oak barrels is followed by a further year in the bottle.
