Rosolaccio Rosso Marche IGT 2024 Vignamato
The Rosolaccio Rosso Marche IGT 2024 from Vignamato is grown on the hills of Castelli di Jesi, at an altitude of 250 meters, from Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes. The vineyard, facing southeast and characterized by clay-limestone soils, produces an intense, territorial red wine. Manual harvesting precedes soft pressing, fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, and maceration for approximately 10-12 days. The wine ages for six months in barrique and four months in bottle. It is an impenetrable ruby red with purple highlights. The aroma is sweet, fruity, and floral, with recognizable notes of morello cherry. On the palate, it is rich, fleshy, and savory, supported by silky tannins and a pleasant harmony. Serve at 16-18°C with red meats, game, braised meats, ragù, risotto, and cheeses.

Vignamato traces its roots back to the late 1940s in San Paolo di Jesi, in the heart of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi production zone. From the intuition of Umberto Ceci and the hard work of Amato and Maria, a winery was born that has built a distinct identity over time, built on family continuity and a connection to the Marche hills. Today, the winery is known for wines that express Verdicchio with personality, combining tradition, elegance, and a strong local vocation.
