Barbera D'Alba Superiore DOC 2022 from Cascina Morassino is a wine designed for those seeking a territorial, easy-to-read, and concrete wine. Made in Piedmont, Italy, from Barbera, it has a profile consistent with the grape variety and the winery's style. In the glass, it offers an intense ruby red color, with a bouquet of ripe fruit with hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied, enveloping, and low in tannins. The calcareous marl soil supports structure, freshness, and a precise flavor. The manual harvest in crates enhances a careful selection of the grapes. In the cellar, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. It ages for 12 months in barriques and three months in bottle.
