Barbera d’Alba DOC 2024 – Cascina Morassino is a Piedmontese red wine with structure and personality, made from Barbera grapes grown in the Cascina Morassino vineyards in the historic Langhe and Monferrato region. This Barbera d’Alba has an intense ruby red color and releases aromas of ripe red fruit on the nose, with hints of violet and vanilla that complement subtle spicy and woody notes from aging. On the palate, it is dry, full, and harmonious, with soft tannins and a balance between acidity and body that makes it versatile and satisfying. The 15% alcohol content supports the structure without weighing it down, offering a rich, persistent sip that is suitable for both everyday conviviality and special occasions. This wine pairs effortlessly with grilled red meats, game, roasts, cured meats, and aged cheeses, as well as with rich meat-based first courses. Serve at the recommended temperature of 16–18°C to enhance its aromas and flavors.
