Ape Reale Barbera d'Alba DOC 2024 - Bel Colle
Barbera d’Alba DOC “Ape Reale” – Bel Colle is produced in the Alba area, among the Langhe hills characterized by sandy-calcareous soils that favor balanced and fragrant wines. The Barbera grapes are harvested and subjected to soft pressing and destemming, followed by fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of approximately 25°C, as indicated in the technical sheet. Aged for six months in stainless steel tanks preserves the aromatic immediacy and varietal freshness. In the glass, it presents a bright ruby red color. The aromatic profile is rich and refined, with notes of ripe red fruit accompanied by floral nuances. On the palate, it is very fruity, with fine acidity and a medium body that makes it smooth and balanced. This is a Barbera designed for everyday use but with a precise definition, ideal with savory first courses, meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
