Ipazia Bonarda dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOC 2025 by Picchioni Andrea is a wine designed for those seeking a territorial, easy-to-read, and concrete bottle. It is made in Lombardy, Italy from Croatina, with a profile consistent with the grape variety and the winery's style. In the glass, it offers an intense and brilliant ruby red color, with purple reflections that are found in the creamy foam. It has an intense, vinous aroma, with distinct notes of morello cherry, berries, and violet. The sandy-pebbly soil supports structure, freshness, and a precise flavor. The hand-harvested grapes in crates at the end of September enhances a careful selection of the grapes. In the cellar, after pressing and destemming, the must macerates in steel and concrete tanks for 4-5 days, then it is drawn off and placed in an autoclave.
