Il Taurasi DOCG Sasso San Pietro nasce da uve Aglianico biotipo Taurasi 100% coltivate su terreni argilloso-calcarei dove la roccia madre affiora in superficie, a 400 metri s.l.m. Dopo una fermentazione con macerazione di 15-18 giorni, il vino affina per 12 mesi in barrique di rovere francese (70% nuove) e ulteriori 24 mesi in bottiglia. Alla vista si presenta di un intenso rosso rubino, con profumi eleganti di violetta, mirtilli e pepe nero, seguiti da sottili note di tè e spezie dolci. Al palato è ricco, profondo e armonioso, con tannini setosi e maturi che donano persistenza e raffinatezza.
