Cocotte

The cocotte is a saucepan with two handles and a lid: born in France, it was ideal for preparing foods that require initial browning and then a very slow cooking. The particularity of the cocotte in cast iron is that it does not concern the use of liquids, but maintains all the humidity of foods. We are interested to oval, round cocotte, single portion mini cocotte, for steam cooking, special cocotte for cooking fish or mussels, with heart shape or cocotte with shaped lid of pork, pumpkin or tomato.
