✅ Practical guide to conservation with Quattro Stagioni jars

The 4 golden rules:

  • The capsules must be used only once to ensure vacuum sealing.
  • Avoid sudden changes in temperature (max 42°C) to avoid breaking the vases.
  • Do not pasteurize in the oven or microwave .
  • The Ø 86 mm format is not suitable for contact with fatty foods .

🥝 Choice of ingredients

Always use fresh, organic and well-washed fruits and vegetables. To avoid browning and reduce bacterial load, soak them in water acidulated with lemon before use.

🧼 Sterilization of Bormioli jars

  1. Check that the glass is not chipped.
  2. Place the jars in a pot with the rim facing up, wrapped in tea towels.
  3. Cover them with warm water and bring to the boil for 10 minutes.
  4. Wash the capsules only by hand with hot water (no detergents, no dishwasher).

💡 The jars can be reused, the capsules cannot!
